Melasma

Melasma is caused by overproduction of melanin in the skin, usually by hormonal changes. It usually requires 4-6 treatments per area. Patients need to make sure they are using sunscreen with an SPF of at least 50 and with broad spectrum coverage and avoid direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Veins on the Face

Veins on the nose and in the cheeks are caused by different conditions such as rosacea, medications, over exfoliating of the skin, allergies and sun damage.

Spider Veins

Spider veins are caused by excess pressure deep within the leg causing the veins to make small spider looking veins to help distribute the excess pressure. T

Acne & Scarring

Active acne, including cystic acne responds well to laser treatments. Laser treatments breakdown excess kertin formation within the pores and they kill the acne bacteria that causes breakouts. The lasers remove excess cells to expose impurities held within the skin layers. The lasers also cut down on the inflammation caused by acne. Acne scarring is the result of active acne breakouts. The lasers help to remodel the scars smoothing and easing their appearance.

Sun Damage & Pigmented Lesions

Sun damage is caused when the skin is excessively exposed to sunlight. The UVA/UVB rays of the sun damage the skin’s collagen and elastin causing a breakdown in elasticity and resulting in leathery, sagging skin. Sun damage also causes the overproduction of pigmentation, resulting in brown spots and red and bluish-colored veins in the skin. Sun damage is the number one cause of aging. Usually, a combination of lasers is used depending on what problems are to be improved. The lasers are performed in a series of 4-6 treatments depending on the severity of the problems.

Stretch Marks

Stretch marks occur on the skin when the skin has been stretched faster than it can repair itself. It can be the result of pregnancy, rapid weight or growth spurts. Body builders can also acquire stretch marks from rapid muscle growth. Stretch marks are a scar that responds well to lasers. The lasers help the skin regenerate and repair itself.

Cellulite

Cellulite is a condition of the skin that affects 80% of women and 10% of men. It is the “hail damage” appearance of skin in certain areas of the body such as the buttocks and thighs. Cellulite occurs where the fat cells underneath the skin form scar tissue that then attaches to the skin. The scar tissue then causes the dimpling appearance of the skin. Our lasers help to tighten the skin and reform the scar tissue so that the skin smoothes out. We typically will do a treatment series of 4-6 treatments. The treatments are pain free with no downtime.

• Walk in Wednesdays are for Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport. Appointments are not necessary.
• There will be a QR code to help check you in. Once scanned there will be a form that will have a few questions. IF you are a NEW patient you will need new patient paperwork. Please go to the front desk to receive a new patient packet.
• Please be patient with us as Wednesdays can have a high patient volume.
• We will place you on the schedule wherever we have a spot, you may receive a text message from us with a time but that is NOT the time you will be taken back. This is simply for us to see that you are here and allow us to gather your information.
